10iss Exhibition Catalog Pre-Sale

We are happy to announce that our 190 page official 10iss Exhibitions Catalog is now available for purchase. The catalog contains a foreword by Yoshiko Iwamoto Wada, and full color images of artworks from four of the exhibitions curated for the symposium accompanied by text in English, Spanish and Japanese.

 

The catalog also includes abstracts from five other symposium exhibitions:

• New Beat: International Student Competition – Wearable Art organized through Hong Kong Polytechnic University, chaired by Kinor Jiang, and vice-chaired by Guoxiang Yuan, Qingxin Peng, and Yuki Cheng, exhibited at Centro Cultural San Pablo
• bandhani flags by Christina Kim, exhibited at Museo Textil de Oaxaca
• Joyeria y Papel: Una Colaboración – Kiff Slemmons and Arte Papel Vista Hermosa by Kiff Slemmons, exhibited at Arte Papel Vista Hermosa
• Óptica & Háptica by Carla Fernández, exhibited at Centro de las Artes de San Agustín
• Color Play: Children’s Resist-Dye Works from Chile, organized by Colorearte and exhibited at Biblioteca Infantil de Oaxaca

The back of the catalog, printed in English and Japanese, features works from INDIGO EARTH: Shibori Kimono, Past and Present, curated by Yoshiko Nakamura and Consortium Arimatsu Narumi and exhibited at Centro de las Artes de San Agustín, and INDIGO EARTH: Japanese Kasuri and Shibori curated by Yoshiko Nakamura and Consortium Arimatsu Narumi and exhibited at Galería la Mano Mágica.

In addition, the catalog includes an abstract from INDIGO EARTH: Children’s Shibori, exhibited at Museo Textil de Oaxaca.
